Wednesday, May 06, 2015. Greg got rained out at work at noon today. He went by the casino close by where he works and won a jackpot. Two more days at work. Work has piled up from taking the two days off, but the boss is not there this week, so it has been an easy week. I should get all caught up next week. I am looking forward to the weekend. Thursday, March 28, 2013. On those Saturday mornings when my insistent desire to have something different from the daily granola clashes with my fatigue or laziness, I fall back on a little something I call Aggrandized Oatmeal. Cook up rolled oats the usual way. Afterward I can go back to the couch or stare at the sky and forget the laundry for a while longer, feeling virtuous about breakfast at least. A delightful combination for a weekend morning.
