A Finer Thing

Thursday, March 28, 2013. On those Saturday mornings when my insistent desire to have something different from the daily granola clashes with my fatigue or laziness, I fall back on a little something I call Aggrandized Oatmeal. Cook up rolled oats the usual way. Afterward I can go back to the couch or stare at the sky and forget the laundry for a while longer, feeling virtuous about breakfast at least. A delightful combination for a weekend morning.

This site had the following on the web site, "Chickens in the Road on Etsy." We noticed that the web page said " Chickens in the Road on Facebook." It also stated " Like puff pastryexcept easy! Its easy because were going to use self-rising flour or your favorite baking mix. The salt is already in the self-rising flour, along with baking powder, which gives a slightly different result than if you started with all-purpose flour. Flaky layers, with a bit of rise. The texture with self-rising flour will be a more biscuit-like puff pastry. What is puff pastry? Because this is easy puff pastry, we8217."
